Tenerife's Siam Park has just been named Europe's best water park for the 15th year in a row

No other park has managed to knock it off the top spot since the awards began, and three of its slides are now in the European top ten too

Some records are made to be broken. And then there's Siam Park, in Tenerife. The Costa Adeje water park has just been named Europe's best for the fifteenth consecutive year at the European Star Awards 2026, presented this week at IAAPA Expo Europe in London, the leisure industry's leading international trade fair. Every single edition of the awards since they launched in 2012 has ended the same way, with Siam Park on top.

This year's runners-up were Rulantica in Germany and The Land of Legends in Turkey, two serious rivals that couldn't quite close the gap. The awards are decided by an independent jury of industry professionals who assess innovation, operational standards, safety and the quality of the visitor experience, so this isn't a popularity contest. It's a proper industry verdict, and it keeps coming back in Tenerife's favour.

Christoph Kiessling, Vice President of the Loro Parque Group, said the award reflects the ongoing investment and innovation the park puts into its facilities, as well as the work of the team running it day to day. Fifteen consecutive first places is, by any measure, an extraordinary achievement.

The overall title wasn't the only recognition this year. Three of Siam Park's slides, Saifa, Singha and Power of Tower, made the top ten in the Europe's Best Water Slides category. According to the park, no other European water park placed more than one attraction in that top ten this year, which makes Siam Park's hat-trick all the more striking.

Of the three, Saifa is the newest, having opened in 2023. Singha has been drawing crowds since 2015, while Power of Tower has been part of the park's line-up since it first opened its gates back in 2008. That original opening was inspired by Thai architecture and culture, giving the park its distinctive look, and eighteen years on it continues to invest in new rides and technology.
