Sunshine and rising temperatures on the way this week: Alicante weather forecast May 18-21
Temperatures are expected to rise steadily through the week, with mostly sunny skies and only a slight chance of isolated inland showers

After a mostly sunny weekend, the weather across the Alicante Province is set to become even warmer and more settled as the week goes on. While Monday could bring a slight risk of isolated afternoon showers and thunderstorms inland, it's sun all the way for the rest of the week, with temperatures gradually climbing day by day. Let's take a look at the daily forecast.
Monday May 18
Monday will be mostly clear, although cloud will build during the afternoon in inland areas. There is a slight chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms developing later in the day but mainly inland, with a low possibility of them reaching some coastal areas. Temperatures will rise slightly, while light winds will become more southerly and easterly during the afternoon, occasionally strengthening along the coast.
Tuesday May 19
Tuesday is expected to stay mostly sunny with very little cloud. Temperatures will continue to climb, bringing nice warm conditions across the area. Winds will remain generally light and variable, coming more from the south and east later in the day, picking up a bit at times.
Wednesday May 20
On Wednesday, there will be mostly clear skies but some cloud may develop in the afternoon in the northern half of the Province. Bringing with it a small chance of scattered afternoon showers in those inland areas. Temperatures will rise again and the winds will start off light but may pick up in the afternoon.
Thursday May 21
Thursday will be much the same with sunny skies and some afternoon cloud in inland northern towns. The temperatures will continue to rise and again winds will be light but possibly getting stronger in the afternoon.
Feels like summer is finally on the way after one of the greyest winter/Spring seasons on the Costa Blanca. Although it's still a touch fresh in the morning, so maybe don't pack away all the jackets just yet.
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Alicante province:

- Monday May 18: Min 10ºC, Max 28ºC
- Tuesday May 19: Min 13ºC, Max 30ºC
- Wednesday May 20: Min 15ºC, Max 30ºC
- Thursday May 21: Min 15ºC, Max 31ºC
