A full day of free martial arts training and entertainment comes to La Zenia Beach this Saturday
La Zenia Beach in Orihuela Costa hosts the second Martial Arts Beach Festival this Saturday September 13. The free event offers outdoor martial arts classes for all ages and skill levels, organised with BMF Martial Arts School Orihuela Costa.
The day starts at 9.30am with energising yoga to warm up participants. At 10.30am, children and young people can try BMF kickboxing in a dedicated session designed for younger participants.
Mixed-age self-defence classes begin at 11.15am, teaching practical skills suitable for everyone regardless of experience. Boxing classes at 12.30pm introduce newcomers to the sport whilst giving experienced practitioners a chance to improve their technique.
The training programme finishes at 1.15pm with Muay Thai sessions, where participants learn the basics of this effective martial art that combines punches, kicks, elbows and knees.
Entertainment runs alongside the training schedule. A DJ session at 11am provides music throughout the morning and live beach music at 2pm rounds off the day.
All activities are completely free. The festival welcomes beginners and experienced martial artists alike, with unisex training suitable for all fitness levels.
