Rain and storms on Christmas Day: Murcia weekly weather forecast December 22-28
There is more rain forecast for the end of this week, and chilly conditions without much change in temperatures
Minimum and maximum temperatures in Murcia, Wednesday December 24The weather forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for this Christmas week in the Region of Murcia starts dry, if somewhat cloudy, moving to become rainy with thunderstorms towards the tail end of the week, including Christmas Day.
Monday December 22
Murcia weather warnings, Monday December 22For Monday December 22, Aemet forecasts “cloudy skies with sunny intervals” and “light to moderate frosts inland” with “light to moderate westerly winds”. This is pretty much the same as the forecast for the rest of the early part of this week.
Tuesday December 23
Murcia weather forecast, Tuesday December 23Again, Tuesday looks to be cloudy “with a chance of light rain,” though temperatures will be rising ever so slightly, though that won’t last and it will drop again or remain at a similar level across the course of the week.
This is essentially night-time lows of around 0ºC or just below freezing in the north of the Region, and between 3-6ºC in the southern half. During the day, it will get up to highs of 13ºC, 14ºC or even up to 17ºC in parts.

Thursday December 25, Christmas Day
Murcia weather forecast, Thursday December 25It is on Thursday morning, Christmas Day, when Aemet forecasts rain and storms to sweep in from the southeastern coast of Murcia, a storm that works its way inland to cover the entire Region by the afternoon and bring drizzle all night long. Better get your Christmas Day walkies in early to avoid getting drenched, then spend the rest of the day safely ensconced at home.
Friday December 26, Boxing Day
Murcia weather forecast, Friday December 26As per Aemet’s current forecast, the rain is expected to peter out on Friday morning, leaving a bright, crisp and sunny Boxing Day, perfect for getting all the fresh air you missed out on the day before. It will cloud over again towards the evening, in preparation for storms incoming for the weekend.
Saturday December 27
Murcia weather forecast, Saturday December 27Saturday December 27 will see rain creeping back into the Region, accompanied by a small rise in temperatures of a couple of degrees, both at night and during the day.
Sunday December 28
Murcia weather forecast, Sunday December 28Sunday, too, will be overcast and rainy, with some sunny patches, mainly towards the afternoon and potentially drying up overnight.
