Camposol collision leads to legal action for drunk driving
A driver is facing court after a crash in Camposol Sector D, that caused serious damage to a house

Mazarrón police have taken legal action against a driver suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and drugs. The incident occurred in Camposol’s Los Covachos on D Sector, where the vehicle caused extensive damage to a property. No injuries were reported.
In addition to the criminal case, the authorities have issued administrative fines for several traffic violations connected to the incident.
In an official post, the Mazarrón local police said, “Court proceedings have been opened for a suspected offence of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs, with the driver also involved in a traffic accident causing significant damage to the façade of a house. Administrative fines have also been issued for various violations.”

Residents in the area have shared their shock and disappointment, commenting on the number of people who drink and drive in the area. Some even suggested that the Guardia Civil should set up checks near the bars to prevent incidents like this.
Authorities are reminding the community of the serious consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs and the importance of road safety.
