When submitting text to be included on Roda Golf Resort Today, please abide by the following guidelines so we can upload your article as swiftly as possible:

Region of Murcia holiday calendar 2025: All the festivos and long weekends
See the bank holidays (‘festivos’) agreed for the Region of Murcia in 2025
The Region of Murcia has officially announced the public holidays for the 2025 working calendar. A total of 12 public holidays will be celebrated throughout the Region, with two additional local holidays bringing the total to 14 public holidays.
Easter 2025
Easter 2025 will take place in mid-April, with Holy Thursday and Good Friday falling on April 17 and 18, respectively. Fortunately for workers in the Region, they will be able to enjoy this holiday period right before the San José holiday, which will take place on Wednesday March 19 next year.
Regional Day of Murcia
Murcia will also celebrate its Regional Day on Monday June 9, which offers the possibility of a long weekend. However, the regional government has decided not to move the Spain Day public holiday, which falls on Sunday October 12, to the following Monday.
2025 public holidays in the Region of Murcia
- January 1 (Wednesday): New Year's Day
- January 6 (Monday): Three Kings Day (Epiphany of the Lord)
- March 19 (Wednesday): San José/Fathers’ Day
- April 17: Holy Thursday
- April 18: Good Friday
- May 1 (Thursday): May Day/Labour Day
- June 9 (Monday): Regional Day of Murcia
- August 15 (Friday): Assumption of the Virgin
- November 1 (Saturday): All Saints' Day
- December 6 (Saturday): Spanish Constitution Day
- December 8 (Monday): Day of the Immaculate Conception
- December 25 (Thursday): Christmas Day
Paid and non-recoverable holidays
All 12 public holidays included in the Region of Murcia's working calendar are paid and non-recoverable, ensuring that workers in the Region can enjoy these special days without worrying about making up for lost time.
