Plaza de la Constitución and the Town Hall in Alhama de Murcia

Plaza de la Constitución and the Town Hall in Alhama de Murcia

Alhama de Murcia Town Hall retains its original façade with moderno offices behind it

This old noble house retains its original façade although since 1986 it has been converted inside into an attractive, modern set of offices is the home to the local council and the Town Hall. The square outside is the focal point for much of the towns social and cultural activity, with many of the artesan markets and fiesta-related activities taking place in the Plaza de la Constitución.

There is parking below the Plaza in the underground car park, and this is a useful location to park for visiting the tourist office which is on the edge of the Plaza, or the Archaeological Museum and Roman baths which are just a 5 minute walk from here.

For further information about Alhama de Murcia go to the home page of Alhama Today.
