November 12 to 15 Ciudad del Sol flamenco festival in Lorca
The 38th edition of the festival closes with a performance by Capullo de Jerez and El Pele
The “Ciudad del Sol” flamenco festival at the Teatro Guerra in Lorca is in a competition format for up and coming talents, and begins this year on November 12 with the official opening, followed by the semi-final and final on November 13 and 14 respectively. Tickets for these evenings are priced at 5 euros (available online here).
However, arguably the most attractive evening is the gala night at the Auditorio Margarita Lozano (Calle Santa Quiteria, click for map) on November 15, which begins at 21.00 and features Capullo de Jerez and El Pele. Tickets for this event are priced at 20 euros and are available online here.
