Man arrested for public exposure and aggressive behaviour in Santiago de la Ribera
A man caused disturbances at a pharmacy and a nearby park, exposing himself in public and threatening officers

A man was arrested on Monday December 8 in Santiago de la Ribera, San Javier, after causing disturbances at a pharmacy and later in a nearby park.
Around 8pm, staff at a pharmacy on Avenida Balsicas called the police after spotting two men verbally abusing a worker. When officers arrived, they found one of the men shirtless and both clearly out of control. After being identified, the pair left the pharmacy, but unfortunately the situation didn’t end there.
They continued their aggressive behaviour in a nearby park, reportedly threatening passing vehicles.
Additional police units were called in as things escalated. One of the men exposed himself in front of children, shouted threats, and threw objects at officers. At one point, he climbed a tree, fell, and began banging his head against the trunk. He ignored repeated orders to calm down and get dressed, even trying to hit an officer, before being restrained and arrested for alleged assault and disobedience.
During his transfer to a police vehicle, the man hit his head on the door frame. At the health centre, he remained agitated, so staff sent him to the psychiatric unit at Los Arcos Hospital. He is now under medical care, with the Guardia Civil maintaining custody.
