Team from Club MMGR, Mar Menor Golf Resort academy wins Pádel Intermediate Irish National Championships
Club MMGR, Mar Menor Golf Resort are very pleased to share the brilliant achievement of Callum Hughes and Josué Govea Moya in the Pádel Intermediate Irish National Championships. The pair finished first in the Men’s Intermediate category.
Over the weekend of September 13 to 15, the students of the Pádel Academy of Club Mar Menor Golf Resort, Callum Hughes and Josué Govea Moya, coached by Dani Martínez and Alfonso Sernández, were proclaimed Champions of the International Tournament "All Ireland Cupra Championship" at the finals held at Bushy Park in Dublin Ireland, where they faced rivals from different countries.
It is a major achievement in the world of Pádel for both Callum and Josué and Club MMGR.
This is the third accolade the Club MMGR Pádel Academy students have won this year. Earlier this month the FRMP (Murcian pádel federation) announced that Club MMGR Academy star Maria Garcia Alcaraz would represent the Region of Murcia in the Spanish National Pádel Championship and in January Maria together with her playing partner Claudia Torres, also a Club MMGR Academy prodigy, were proclaimed champions of the First stage event of the Region of Murcia Pádel competition in the junior's category at the Cartagena Pádel Club.
